The new Android 15 comes with a secret compartment for apps, known as ‘Private Space’. You can decide whether you want to sign in or create a new Google account during the setup process. A ‘Private’ button will appear at the bottom of your app drawer once the setup process has been completed. You can customize it according to your wish. Apps included in the ‘Private Space’ will be hidden from Recent Apps, Notifications, and Settings. You have to provide additional authentication to access the space.
One of the standout features of Android 15 is its enhanced privacy features. This is an era where data security is paramount, Google has made a step to ensure that users have more control over their personal data. The new Theft Detection Lock feature is particularly noteworthy. This security measure will automatically lock the device if there is any suspicious activity, such as unauthorized access attempts or unusual patterns of use. This means that even if your phone is lost or stolen, your data remains protected. This feature uses the divide’s sensors and artificial intelligence to perform like this.
Apart from the Theft Detection Lock, Google introduced a Remote Lock feature, which allows users to lock their device with the help of another Android device using their phone number. This feature will work even if the Find My Device option is disabled. This extra layer of security helps users to safeguard their data, regardless of circumstances.
The Android 15 update includes improvements to the Camera of the Pixel devices. There is a Low Light Boost feature that will enable users to capture pictures with more clarity even in the dark. Some eligible devices will get a feature like a satellite-based messaging option in the area where no mobile service is available.
If you are using a foldable or tablet, you can now pin and unpin the taskbar. If there is any favorite app that you use frequently, you can set up an app pairing and use it with one icon.
Android 15 also brings a fresh visual overhaul to the user interface. The update features new themes and color palettes that enhance the user experience. Users can now choose from an array of dynamic wallpapers that change based on the time of day or their mood.
The release of Android 15 marks an exciting new chapter for Google Pixel users. As more users receive this update in the coming weeks, it will be interesting to see how these new features are embraced and utilized in everyday life. Google is also preparing to bring out a new Pixel feature drop for October that contains significant changes.
