Black Ops 6 And Warzone Are Coming To Xbox Cloud Gaming

Microsoft has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers at its launch. Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 will also be accessible on the same day. The launch is anticipated to happen on October 25, 2024, at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET. This is going to be the first time that Xbox is bringing the COD franchise post Microsoft gained Activision Blizzard.

Since the launch, gamers can stream these three titles through cloud gaming via their mobile devices and selected Samsung TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Meta Quest devices. Titles will be accessible for gamers who possess Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

The game Call of Duty demands huge storage space from the hard drive, after the launch of these three titles users need to download it to play the game. At this moment, cloud gaming on the Xbox platform is supported in 28 countries, gamers residing in countries such as India or Malaysia have to play the games locally.

Users residing in the supported country need an uninterrupted internet connection, an Xbox controller, and the Xbox app to access the games. Xbox cloud gaming is supported on platforms such as Fire TV Stick, smart TVs, VR headsets, smartphones, and cloud-based handhelds like the Logitech G Cloud.

The downfall of streaming from the cloud is said to be high input latency. Activision is optimizing the COD game by enabling texture streaming, this year’s version requires less storage space on your drive.

Here are the prime details declared for Black Ops 6’s release, which highlights campaign information, two Zombies maps, and Treyarch’s new omnimovement system. Players can earn special rewards by playing the Black Ops 6 campaign, such as an operator skin and weapon blueprint.

Another piece of news came regarding Microsoft, they are developing to expand Xbox Cloud Gaming to enable users to stream owned games that are not part of Xbox Game Pass. the update is expected to begin in November. On 1st November, Microsoft enables Xbox game purchases in its Xbox mobile app on Android in the US. This was made possible through the court ruling that happened last week has forced Google to stop requiring Google Play Billing for apps in the Play Store on the 1st of November. Soon, you will be able to buy an Xbox game via the Android app and stream it immediately to your device.
