iQoo recently launched its latest flagship model iQoo 13 in China. Earlier this week, the specifications and features of the new flagship model were released with the official launch. According to recent reports, one of the latest updates is that the Bluetooth SIG certification has hinted at the global launch of the new smartphone.
Currently, the new series will only be available in the Chinese markets, but the new development is a clue that it will soon be launched in the global market.
As per the inner sources, Bluetooth SIG revealed the model number 12401 which is believed to be a global variant. The model has been published on the official website of Bluetooth SIG. Even before the official launch, there were assumptions that the model displayed on the Bluetooth SIG website was iQoo’s latest edition the iQoo 13.
This was the first cue that the company was launching its next flagship series. It was also revealed earlier that the device was also spotted on various other certification sites thus hinting at a global release in the coming days. Reports by Tech Outlook also found that the iQoo 13 had appeared in certification databases like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Indonasia’s SDPPI.
All these databases did not specifically reveal any of the specifications of the new smartphone but did hint at the fact that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s most trending silicon Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The company has already teased the release of their latest smartphone in India as well but the dates are not yet officially confirmed. However, it is rumored that the smartphones will reach the Indian market towards the end of this year.
The iQoo 13 features a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with up to 144 Hz refresh rates and also offers complete HDR support. As the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powers the new smartphone, it offers storage space from 16GB to 1TB UFS 4.0 onboard storage capacities.
The phone runs on the Android15-based OriginOS 5 software and also carries a Q2 gaming chipset for an enhanced gaming experience and performance levels for the users. The camera elements have also been improved in the new model and feature a triple rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and optical image stabilization.
The OIS also supports the 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooting options. One of the striking features is that the rear camera module has an “Energy Halo” LED around it which can be customized by the users. The front camera of the smartphone carries a 32-megapixel sensor.
The iQoo 13 also holds an impressive battery capacity of 6,500mAh with 125W wired charging support. One additional feature in the latest edition is that the iQoo 13 comes with dual speakers a cooling system with multi-layer graphene and a 7-K ultra-large heat spreader.
The company has introduced the iQoo 13 in Black, Shiny Blue, Green, and Grey color variants. Apart from the minor changes, the design elements of the latest edition remain similar to that of its predecessor iQoo 12. Even though various database websites have hinted at the global release of the smartphone, the company has not yet decided on an official date for the global release of iQoo 13.
As of now the phone is limited to the Chinese markets and can be purchased from the Vivo China e-store. The tech developers have predicted this model to raise high ratings for the company in the technological market because of its improved features and the fact that the new flagship series is powered by Qualcomm’s most trending Snapdragon 8 Elite processors.
