Mobvoi expands TicWatch lineup with Atlas smartwatch

After a relatively quiet summer, Mobvoi, the Chinese technological company, is back with a bang. Following its last edition of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro refresh, this time Mobvoi was focusing on bringing an OS 4 update to all its TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatches. They have launched their latest edition, the Atlas smartwatch, paired with the first wear OS 4 update. The watch is priced at 349 dollars and is available on Amazon. The TicWatch atlas is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1. Mobvoi themselves call this latest edition ‘the most rugged smartwatch yet’. However the Atlas smartwatch has many similarities with the recent series; both the Atlas smartwatch and TicWatch pro series have 5 ATM water resistance and MIL-STD-810H compliance, and the case construction is the same in both the watches. Both watches have a sapphire crystal display. The connectivity options in the Atlas smartwatch are also identical to those of the TicWatch Pro series.

The new Atlas smartwatch has many new features, such as fall detection and new heat maps that show you the locations where you are most active. These features assist athletes, sports players, or even people who simply go to the gym. It also has dual-display technology. If you want to use Mobvoi as a fitness watch, it can perform that way too. There is a heart rate tracker that monitors your blood oxygen levels and examines your sleep cycle. The heat maps help players who are training outside with their football game, soccer game, tennis, etc. A heat map will be shown. It is advised by Mobvoi to wrap the Atlas watch so that it doesn’t injure the teammates. The TicWatch can be similar to the AmazFit-Rez 3 watch as it also has a long battery life, which supports you in any outdoor adventurous activity where you have to use GPS tracking. There are also a lot of AI features involved in this watch; the maker of the TicWatch Atlas smartwatch has very excellently utilized the newest AI technology in the watch. Fall detection is also a lifesaving feature that alerts the emergency contact given by the user or instead calls the emergency services if the watch detects that the user has fallen somewhere. It provides many features of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 at half its price.

The battery life of the Mobvoi Ticwatch is worth mentioning for its price, and it can provide this battery life to its users with the dual-display setup it has, combining a high-resolution OLED screen (466 x 466 pixels) with an ultra-low power display. The power-efficient secondary display provides you with quick access to the necessary data, which are essential, like the heart rate zones and metrics. This convenient feature allows users to monitor vital information and to navigate. The body of the watch contains two buttons on the top right side and a rotating crown for scrolling through the list. One could confidently say that TicWatch Atlas is the best smartwatch you could buy at this price right now.
