Sony Restocks 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro for Pre-Orders

Sony recently announced the restocking of the company’s 30th anniversary limited edition stock of PS5 Pro. This will be great news for the fans who might have missed the last round of Sony’s limited edition stock of PS5. Since its official reveal in September, the pre-orders were all stocked out within the blink of an eye. However, Sony has launched a second round where additional stocks will be available from Tuesday, 29th October.

Sony’s 30th Anniversary limited edition comes with a slim PS5 digital console and dualsense controller. The limited edition PS5 Pro followed a retro theme inspired by the classic PlayStation models launched in Japan during the 1990s. The console follows a grey color theme and also includes the old-school PlayStation logo.

The fans went wild over the classic theme when it went officially live on September 26th. Considering the tremendous crowd and immediate stockouts faced during the first round, the users should expect the same in the case of the orders in the second round too.

They will now have the chance to get their PS5Pro for $700 and PS5 Slim bundle for $500 at any retail or online store like Amazon or BestBuy. According to the social media posts and the inner sources, the stock will be available for pre-ordering from 29th October at 10 am onwards. The users will only be able to purchase one console per order as the sale is still running through PS Direct.

The users can expect the newly launched limited edition to be a collaboration of the original PS5 and the PS5 Slim. Although not yet officially confirmed, the height of the console is rumored to be similar to that of the classic PS5 while the width is the same as the PS5 Slim. Sony has also put forth the fact that they have used advanced technologies and have infused a larger GPU which will boost 45 percent power of the console thus enhancing the gaming quality and performance levels.

The new edition will also provide more dynamic lighting and the company has confirmed that there will be better and enhanced reflections and casting of shadows. One of the best features is that Sony has embraced the AI technologies for the new device in the form of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution that uses machine learning-based technology to improve the image quality of the game.

The company has always remained at the forefront of providing some high-spec gaming experience to its users and the upcoming launch of the PS5 Pro which is to be released on November 21st is said to be equipped with some exciting features. Apart from its retro theme, the device comes with several accessories and has already been listed as the most selling product in the market.

The color theme may be considered a major factor that held back many gamers around the globe. As per the estimates, Sony only manufactured around 12,500 PS5 Pro consoles in the grey color variant so the chances of the limited edition being stocked out soon are much higher and it is most unlikely to come back in the market.

The official preordering sessions began on September 26th when the product availability was restricted to Play Direct alone. From 10th October onwards the limited edition PS5 Pro became available to third-party retailers.

The Sony anniversary sale has increased their market values to higher levels and is expected to invite a larger audience. Such an exciting sale of the limited edition of the new PS5 Pro is to celebrate the 30 years of the Sony consoles and this might also be the reason the new edition was inspired by the classic PS5 models. The 30 years is expected to mark a milestone in the history of the company and users can sit back and wait eagerly for the new editions in the coming days.
